Adele, Rihanna, Justin Bieber Win At NRJ Awards In Cannes

Adele, Rihanna and Justin Bieber were among the big winners at this year's NRJ Awards in France.

The London singer picked up two awards, 'International Revelation of the Year' and 'International Song of the Year' for 'Someone Like You'.
While, Justin Bieber and Shakira were both handed the 'Award of Honour', with Rihanna collecting' International Female Artist of the Year'.

Meanwhile, Adele has become the first single artist in music history to lead the Billboard 200 concurrently with three Hot 100 number ones.

The singer's '21' has spent a 17th week at the top of the US album chart, while her latest single 'Set Fire To The Rain' takes pole position on the Hot 100.

The new record means that the Brit has become the first artist to have 3 songs top the Hot 100, while her album is also at number one in the Billboard 200 album chart.

'Rolling In The Deep' topped the chart last May and second single 'Someone Like You' hit top spot September 2011, with '21' being atop the album tally on both occasions.

Review: THE WOMAN IN BLACK Offers Classically Styled Chills

To say that The Woman In Black is a throwback to an old style of British thriller doesn't quite do it justice, but it's at least a decent starting point for conversation about the work. From the first moment we see the revivification of the Hammer moniker show up on screen we know that this picture at the least stems from the same tradition as the films that made the likes of Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing international stars.

It should also be noted that the film is based on an extremely popular pulp novel by Susan Hill, which was turned into a play that's the second longest running in West End history (next to, of course, the ubiquitous Christie play The Mousetrap).

Oh, and it's the first "adult" role by young Mr. Daniel Radcliffe, he of the film-series-that-shall-not-be-named
