The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. Proud parents Beyonce and Jay-Z have shared the first photos of their beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. The series of intimate photos show just how gorgeous the baby is, born just over a month ago.
Unusually for celebrities, Beyonce and Jay-Z chose not to sell the first baby photos to a glossy magazine for millions of dollars. They took control of how the world will first see their daughter and posted the first Blue Ivy photos to a tumblr blog they created for her.
Beyonce (30) is pictured with her daughter in one photo, smiling
into the camera while she cradles the baby. The former Destiny’s Child
singer is out of focus with clarity on baby Blue. A cute touch is that
Beyonce’s nails are painted blue, as a nice little nod to the baby’s
name.The message accompanying the baby Blue Ivy Carter photos reads:
“We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. The Carter Family.”
Another of the photos shows Blue Ivy looking into the camera. They
all clearly show the baby already has a thick head of glossy black hair.Another photo shows Blue holding her hand up to her ear as she sleeps in a polka dot blanket. It shows off her perfect rosebud mouth and almond-shaped brown eyes.
The emotional photos show just how beautiful Beyonce and Jay-Z’s baby Blue Ivy Carter is. They were well worth the wait, weren’t they?
