Lady Gaga Shuns Red Carpet, But Doesn't Disappoint At Grammy Awards

Lady Gaga is the queen of eccentric, one-of-a-kind outfits, and while the singer shunned the red carpet this year, she was full of surprises inside the show. After "appearing" on the red carpet at last year's awards inside a giant egg, maybe the singer found it hard to top that entrance this year.
Photos from Daily Mail show the singer eagerly planting a kiss on Beatle's singer Paul McCartney's cheek while wearing a black latex and mesh ensemble. The singing legend good-naturedly feigned surprise, or perhaps the Born This Way star's solid-looking shoulder pads were cutting into his throat. It's hard to say.


The singer wore her blonde and black hair pulled back into a structured updo, with a flounce at the front to give height to her hair. Unfortunately, the hairstyle looked pulled back so tight that it gave the singer's face a rather stretched look, like a bad facelift.
While Lady Gaga covered her face in mesh that was pinned up into her hair, her makeup look was still very visible. She kept her makeup surprisingly simple. Her complexion looked flawless, with a heavy peach blush that blended up into her temples. Her eyes were reminiscent of a 1950's pin-up star, with a single black line on the top lashes that winged out at the corners into a cat eye. The only other pop of color in the singer's look was her tomato-red lips, which were in tune with the pin-up style of her makeup.
The quirky star perched regally on her chair for the awards ceremony, clutching a gold walking stick with a large bauble on the top. Miranda Lambert, who was sitting next to Gaga, looked decidedly uncomfortable, and her husband, Blake Sheldon, smiled nervously beside her. Gaga was no doubt enjoying herself, with one photo showing the singer looking pointedly at the uncomfortable duo beside her.
